I have posted 2 seperate posts so you might want to start with the "Health Issues" one first.
We went back today to get my results from the blood work from yesterday and to check my placenta to see if it had moved. Good news! My placenta previa is finally gone and I no longer have to worry about going into labor and bleeding to death. I can have her naturally in her own time which is another wonderful thing. Unfortunately though when they were checking this they discovered that my cervix is starting to thin too early. Two weeks ago at my last check it measured 3.8 cm and this time it measured 2.4 cm. At this point which is 33 weeks it should still be around the 3.5 – 4.0 point. I knew something had changed the night before because I started having some major pressure in the down there area, lovely I know. It really felt like she was trying to escape. Also, since I have always had ultrasounds in the past I have never had my doctor check me manually. Good gracious this was a real treat…sarcasm, sarcasm, sarcasm. I kept picturing those cows that are giving birth and the person delivering them has their arm entirely inside of them. It was miserable. I kept thinking ok that is as far as she can go….but nope she could go further. I am still amazed on a daily basis as to what a woman’s body can endure to develop a child and give birth. So my doctor said no more work and I don’t necessarily have to be on “bed rest” but basically a 24 hour rest. I don’t have to be lying down but I am not to be up doing anything other than the bathroom or shower. This makes getting things done at home a little tough. We finally got the carpet down so the baby’s room can be started. We still need the bed brought up from Alabama but my dad should be bringing it this weekend. I was going to start washing all of her clothes and bedding now that the room is ready but our freakin washer has all but died. It turns out it is being recalled and so many people are trying to get theirs fixed that the parts to fix it are back ordered. We were told they would call us when they finally received the parts. Karlis has already made one trip to our little local Laundromat to wash our clothes. We still have to find a king size bed for our room so it looks like we will be in our living room floor for a little longer.
We go back to the doctor on Wednesday of next week to see if things have stayed the same or gotten worse. Keep your fingers crossed!

Oh wow it sounds like you had a rough week! I was so very glad to hear that things were back to normal and then they give you something else to worry about :( Call me if you need anything! I miss you guys!
Hearing the hearbeat is definitely heart-warming. I'm so glad that you got to experience that. I hope all goes well with the resting and washing and reparing and nesting.
